HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

• Hardware term refers to all physical parts of a computer system; its components are: electrical, electronic, electromechanical and mechanical.They are cables, cabinets or boxes, peripherals of all kinds and any other physical element involved
• It is known as the logical computer software or software of a computer system, comprising all the necessary software components that make it possible to perform specific tasks, as opposed to the physical components that are called hardware.

    



the hardware has these parts:

1. The central processing
2. Motherboard
3. The RAM memory
4. Input devices of information
5. Output devices of information
6. Graphics hardware

In the software the logical components include, among others, computer applications; such as a word processor, which allows the user to perform all tasks concerning text editing; the so-called system software such as operating system, which basically allows other programs to function properly, as well as facilitating the interaction between the physical components and other applications, and providing a user interface.
